Picture of Keshia

It's not everyday a 7 year girl is complimented on her outfit, but for Keshia Crosby, that was an every day occurrence growing up. With a mother whose credits included debutante, homecoming queen, and fashion merchandiser, it's no wonder Keshia developed a sense of style from a young age.

"I learned what it meant to be a personal stylist from watching my mother. She reworked the uninspiring clothes she found for my sister and I in the children's department and turned out outfits with themes like "Yacht Trip" or "Christmas Power Plaids." She really was the epitome of style, from her original Louis Vuitton bags to her Bally's flats."

Keshia relocated to New York City after an unfulfilling politics stint in Washington DC, intent to conquer the fashion industry. After getting her feet wet in fashion public relations at Bismarck Phillips Communications, home to clients like Christian Lacroix and Derek, and Parish PR, Keshia did everything from merchandising at Marc Jacobs to personal shopping and assisting stylists. Keshia's experience grew as she dabbled in event planning, managing events such as the Brooklyn Philharmonic Gala and the MTV's "Chris Brown's Super Sweet 16" party. Currently, Keshia works as a stylist for mega online retailer Bluefly.com and as an associate producer and fashion writer for AMBERmag.com, creating content such as "Fashion Week Style File" and "Fall's Best Accessories".

"To this day, I live by my mother's fashion rules. 'Be yourself, take risks, and there is a such thing as too many shoes!'"
